Weaving Exhibit BAC

Connected Threads:

Discovering Nature

The collaborative art project had guests of the exhibit adding there own nature weavings to sticks hanging from the gallery wall!

It grew and changed over the month the exhibit was there!

WILD TURKEY:  Wild turkeys are woven in this sumac branch with weaving to mimic the feathers with the addition of beads and leather.

BUTTONS AND BIRDS:  Weaving with old buttons and guinea feathers.

PETRIFIED WOOD: Last winter we had so much snow the bunnies chewed branches far up in the trees. This branch died because too much bark had been chewed from it. I loved the irony of a bunny's lunch vs petrified wood that lasts forever.
